-No voltage to the coil or bad ground.
-Points are set wrong in the distributor
-Bad wire from coil to distributor
-broken or bad rotor and or distributor cap

OK lets start with the simple and obvious. First check the ignition fuse. Next test the coil by pulling a plug wire and turning the starter. It should throw a spark to the plug if you hold it close.
If not then make sure the cap and rotor have no cracks in them.
If still no spark then put on a new coil pack.
If this don't do it then it's the ignition control module. in the distributor, under the flyweights.

It could be your points they might be bad or the are not set right. IT could be your coil or your cap and rotor. it's all easy to replace.
