We can probably never win,but if we leave Iraq now it will be more of a breeding ground for terrorists.
Last week troops uncovered a terror cell that was planning an attack on the U.S.
They had everything planned out, even down to how to get in the U.S.....they were going to send people over in small groups on student visas.
These media don't tell you alot about the good things that happen over there, they just want rating,so they tell all the bad stuff. The media is part of the problem with the war.
Personally..i don't think that Bush is doing a bad job..concidering what he has to work with....all the politicians are working against him,if more people supported him, things would run much smoother,we could get the job done.
Why do you think we are over there again...it's because we didn't finish the job the last time we were over there.
Also...how does people feel about Hitler and the halocaust..look how many people died in that.....if we leave the middle east now there will be much more of a body count than Hitler ever imagined with sectarian and the pending civil war.

So to ALL you Bush bashers, you better do your research on whats going on in the world and quit listening to the media.

Terrorism is here to stay. Though terrorist organizations could be reduced to being mere pests on the Earth.

If the Iraqi peoples see their fare share of the oil revenues from their new government a stable Iraq can be achieved.

This is Iran and Syria's worst nightmares. This would destabilize their footing amongst their own peoples. Thus they would eventually fall from within.

The two largest funders to terrorist organizations would cause the river of monies funneled to be reduced to a trickle.

Therefore reducing the threat to Israel , America, and peace loving Muslims throughout the world.

Palestinians would even be able to get statehood. Hezbollah would be eradicated from Lebanon also.

An assassination by a terrorist started World War One.
No, terrorism always comes back. Many countries hold unwilling citizens within their borders, who strive for self-government, or strive to overthrow an unfavorable national government. Any could spawn a political movement that would turn to terrorism. Anywhere.

The war on terror??? Ha! That is a joke. While we are blinded by the media bulls*#t and news publications, I think we (or most of us) have lost site of what this war is really about. Sure, terrorism needs to be stopped, but when did we become the world's keeper. I mean c'mon, everyone should know that the war should now be qoute as the "BLOOD FOR OIL". That whole speach Bush made when he addressed the nation was good. But he did not elaborate on ANYTHING! And the "fact" of us becoming less dependant on the Middle East for oil, I think that's a joke. That is just my opinion. Hope not offend anyone. And yes, I DO SUPPORT OUR TROOPS AND VETERANS. That is for the ones who think that if you do not supprt the war, than you do not support our troops.

No weapons of mass destruction and Sadaam is dead...All the points of war are over...Nobody helped the U.S. with our Civil War...why is Bush trying to help countrys that is nowheres around here...He should just put on a massive search for the AL Kada leaders and get them out. But to say the least there will always be terrorism...its up to the US government to detect it and do away with it before it hits America. THey didnt do a good job for 9/11 even though they had tips about it.

This little piece of clumsy marketing died off quickly, but it gave away what many already suspected: the War on Terror will never end, nor is it meant to end. It is designed to be perpetual. As with the War on Drugs, it outlines a goal that can never be fully attained -- as long as there are pissed off people and explosives. The Long War will eternally justify what are ostensibly temporary measures: suspension of civil liberties, military expansion, domestic spying, massive deficit spending and the like. This short-lived moniker told us all, "get used to it. Things aren't going to change any time soon

We might as well be fighting the proverbial war against Martians. The war on terror is so vague that it may never be won. It is enough that we strengthen our borders and directly protect our national interests.
