White guilt is a fraud. What whites did in the past is no different than what every other race has done in the past. It's just that whites were the most successfull because they were the most advanced.

The only reason white guilt exists at all is because our media and education establishments have promoted it for over 30 years. There is real hostility in some white baby-boomers against whites and western civilization. I really can't understand why some of them want to destroy their own race and culture. Maybe it has something to do with the socialist philosophies that influenced their thinking in the 1960s.

I have white guilt and I am proud to have it. White guilt keeps us white people from exploiting minority groups in this country.

I grew up in an ethnically diverse area and never treated anyone differently because of their skin color or ethnicity, so I can't say I have white guilt. I have read and understand the things that white people have done to the Indians and the Africans, but having never done any of these things I cannot feel quilty for them. My family didn't come to the US until 1898, so I'm pretty sure they never owned slaves or drove Indians off their land.

I don't think it's a question of white guilt but a reflection and acceptance of white privilege.

As a majority culture, there are social, political, and economic expectations that are naturally assumed (for centuries)-- but others outside that culture cannot have these same expectations.

Once everyone understands this, then we are on the way to ensuring everyone is treated fairly.

Until we all (all races) make an honest effort to move away from the past and ensure that every effort possible is made to educate our children properly and treat every one with respect and compassion.

i personally think that while you should be understanding of the long term effects of the past,,,,,, you are only responsible for what you have done in this lifetime

As long as some White people continue to love the pat on the back they get from non-Whites more than they love their own future generations.

As long as the there'll be white racists scattered all over the world, passing on their racism to their children and to the children of their children. Really hope their children will be able to think on their own and end this madness once and for all. Peace.
