um i have a wireless router and i set it up so how do i get wireless internet on my dell inspiron 1501?

You need a wireless adaptor card. Since I don't keep track of Dell I am not sure if you have a laptop or a desktop. If it's a desktop you need to buy a pci wirteless adaptor, go to wal-mart or any other store that sells computers and ask for one. The box will have a picture of the card should show an antena sticking out on one end of the picture. You could also take it to a computer store/repait and have them instll one too. If its a laptop you need a pcmcia wireless adaptor card. In either case it should say 802.11 standard adaptor card or something like that.
