You need to apply to graduate school and most likely will have to get a Masters degree then proceed on to the PhD. There may be some schools that offer a combined MA/PhD. Refer to a graduate school guide for help. They are available in most bookstores, your undergrad adviser and professors should be able to give you some advise as well.
