I was pretty much devastated the other day when I put my laundry in the dryer and then heard clunking and I checked and it happened to be my cell phone. It had gone through the entire wash cycle and then a very partial dryer cycle. I put it right near the heater for an entire day and kept checking it. The water bubbles came to the surface of both of the screens and then they eventually completely dried out.
When I put the battery back in it actually sizzled quite loudly. Is there any hope of this working again?? I've heard stories of people who have dropped their phones in water and they worked after a few days, but I do understand this went through a wash cycle.
Right now I suppose it wouldn't be the end of the world if I had to buy a new one, but it's really inconvenient to try to get everyone's numbers back that I had in my contact list. Is there a way to possibly get those from Cingular??
Any help will be greatly appreciated! Thanks bunches!
