Jealousy is one of the worse forms of the original sins. It will destroy any relationship. It has a negative impact on every ones feelings and causes distrust and insecurity in the one that is jealous. They that are in a jealous state need lots of companion and straight talk. By acknowledging you-yourself in person more.
Knowing that other people have something that you really cannot have until you are coveting what they have. Acknowledge that first. Accept yourself that you want something that you don't have that other's have.
Then you need to try to look everything in this life beneath the surface and behind the curtain. You are coveting what other's have, while you really don't know and have no idea if they are truly happy or not with that thing they have that you don't have.
Because -really- the most important thing in life is to be a happy person and a grateful person.....

That sounds more like envy... or covetousness... very undermining trait... so much better to make the most of what you have and be done with it.
