I have tried Trend Micro Housecall. and Free-AVG. Both programs recognize the virus but are not able to clean or delete it.
When I try to delete the file, the computer returns "file in use by windows". The same reply in msdos mode. I you can plase help, I would really appreciate a suggestion. Thanks!

Yes, they made copy when you try delete it!

Try to identify the virus ( zise, date, etc )

Kill the task from task manager ( you need another task manager, window' doesnt works )

Ok, you must cant change start up option, software like tune up utillities start up manager could help you. deleted the virus program from start up. ( normally, we can change it by run 'msconfig' , but viruses use to disable it).

If the virus still run after you kill it it means they have more than one program, with THAT ( i forgot the name ) task manager try to kill program with unusuall path (it sometimes looks like program runs by windows) Just try, worst effect is your PC restarted.

If you succed, that means the virus no longer works, but they may appears when you restart your PC next time.

Thats why first i suggest to identify them, if you know about its zise and date, you can search and delete it all!

Feel free to contact me.

Good luck.

Good day. Yes, since it is a system file used by windows, it will be hard to delete cause doing so may cause yur computer to be unstable. U can delete it in safe mode (reboot computer and click f8 before u see the windows xp logo with the blue blocks running across the screen and chooze safe mode) Log in and delete the file. Since it is a system file, i cannot gurantee u if your computer will be stable after so i suggest u backup your important stuff on a CD or USB/Pen drive and then do this so if the worse does happen, all yur important information will be safe. Laterz.
