get some ice cubes, freaze the blutack and it will come away, just like when you do the same with chewing gum, good luck

I had to remove blue tack off my daughters bedroom carpet only last week . I tried the ice cube advice the steam it advice and would the blooming thing come off .. nooo !!!
Eventually I managed to get it off all I literally did was scraped like mad then used carpet cleaner . All blue tack free again . It did take me 4 hours tho so now my daughter is banned from using blue tack in her room .

The same way you get chewing gum off, place a ice cube on it which is wrapped in a towel, this will chill the blu tack enough to chip it off, then to get the remains off place some blotting paper on it and run a warm iron over it a few times.

Trevor you shouldn't have trouble removing blue tack off the carpet infact its removable intact from anything, so are you sure its the real thing//anyway freeze it and it will knock off

razor blade and shave it. done really carefully u wont notice
