no, it is not true... and all the stuff they sell for it doesn't work either (ie. gypsum)... what works best is to water the urine in, it is the salts in the urine that cause turf burn and applying copious amounts of water rinses those salts through the root zone.... another alternative, make a mulched or sand area and train the dog to go only in that area

I do agree, tomatoes are poisonous to dogs so in reality if you feed your dog enough ketchup the yellow spots will go way. I guess the best thing to do is don't let him do his duty in the front lawn and pick up the poop when he goes in the back yard.

Not sure about that one.
A good tip if your dog likes rolling in fox poo, when they come home, you can squeeze tomato ketchup onto their hair, rub in and rinse well, this takes away all the smell.
A bit messy, so make sure you wear gloves.

your dog needs to be nuetered or spayed,which will change the ph of their urine,no longer leaving yellow spots.Also,watering it in right away does help.

never heard that one b4..but i do know that if u rub in some ketchup onto their coat before shampooing it takes away bad smells after they have rolled in dead birds,seals etc
