My wife and I are high school sweethearts. We met during our junior year of H.S. I was in study hall right after lunch, and a friend of ours who introduced us would come and sit with me in study hall while I was waiting for lunch period to get over, and my wife was with her and that's how we were introduced. We became friends. I usually got a bag of Sun Chips after lunch and would sit there and she would bum chips off me. She sat there and listened to me talk about things that interested me even though I was almost boring her to tears. lol
We started dating during our senior year, we had a class together, Socilogy, and we started dating that year, and we've been together ever since. This Nov. will be 14 years that we have been together, and Aug. will be 11 years we have been married.

We actually met in High School but we were not dating then. He was just a guy who I knew. In fact I use to get him and his brother confused. After graduation I went in the Navy, and saw the world. When I got out of the Navy, I got a job at Wal-Mart and began looking into college. There was a lady working in the next aisle over that remembered me from High School. She was a Freshman when I was a Senior. She and I became fast friends and one Christmas she took me to her family's house to celebrate the holiday.
Her eldest brother was home from college for the break, and I asked her if I could "hit on" her brother. She said that I could and it would be good for him. Later when she began to see that her brother was interested, she asked me if I was serious. I said I was.
That night we watched a movie and he held my hand on the couch. I had never had a guy just hold my hand, usually that lead to more. I was being treated like a lady for the first time in my dating life. We went out on our first date the next night, and by that following April we were married.
Yes, we moved fast, but I wasn't going to let the best thing that ever happened to me get away. This April will mark our 7th year.

I had just graduated from High School and had quit my job at a Day Care cause my parents wanted to move to North Carolina...well 2 weeks before we were supposed to move my dad gets an offer to switch runs..(he was a Grey Hound Bus Driver out of Chicago), he was getting old and wanted to slow down or retire....well this run was from Chicago to Texas and I guess it was easier on him.........not sure.......anyway he tells my mom that he doesn't want to move now cause he had been wanting this run for a long time now........well that weekend I am at the mall with my mom and we stop into Eddie Baurer to see if they have any sales since my dad really likes the clothes from there....This was Aug. 29th, 1998. As we were paying the Store Manager happened to be the one helping us and since we were staying in NW Indiana and I had quit my job, I asked if she was hiring.......she said yes and wanted me to fill out the application right then and there and she hired me. The next day I came to work cause she was having a staff meeting and wanted me to be there and that is when I met my husband. he was a college student working as a waiter at a restaurant but working part-time there for the holidays but ended up staying longer cause the Manager was his Best Friends sister and she needed the help....
We saw each other here and there but in September I guess the manager was trying to hook us up cause she thought we were a good match......I never even really looked at him like that til she pointed him out to me one night when the 3 of us were working.......well she must have said something to him also cause when we were closing and straightening out the store he asked me if I would like to go with him for coffee some time and I accepted.........we weren't on a couple of dates here and there and then the following month he invited me to go with him to a Chicago Fire game with his friends.......on the way home after the game he reached in the back seat and gave me a rose and asked me if I would be his girlfriend ( I guess his friends approved lol). That was Oct. 30th 1998. We were married July 1, 2000. Had our first child, a boy on July 9th, 2004 and then a daughter followed on June 26, 2006 and this July we will be celebrating 7 yrs of marriage......but there were bumps in the road along the way............

My husband and I were resident advisers together in college. We were placed in an "off campus location" (a motel) due to overflow. It was a very difficult situation for everyone so we had to work very closely together.
We were immediately great friends, magnetically attracted to each other. We knew dating was frowned upon, but we couldn't help ourselves. We actually had to ask our boss if it was OK for us to date!
We've been together for over 10 years now, and were married this past October.

A mutual friend introduced us. He had to tell me that the guy I was seeing at the time (his best friend) was cheating on me. I really appreciated his honesty and we started dating. We went out for about 8 or 9 months and broke up. About 7 years later he came back home for vacation and we saw each other. After he went back East we started talking on the net. He decided he missed it back home and we got a place together. The rest is history! We have been together for five years and married for almost four now!
