1) The history! I love my country...but lets face it, the United States is sooo young. We are just babies compared to Europe. When you are standing on a cobblestone street that dates back to the Roman Empire...its just overwhelming.
2) The museums and Cathedrals! The Louvre is the most amazing museum I have ever seen. The palace itself is bigger than my hometown lol. Europe has some of the most amazing collections of art. I also love going to the cathedrals in Europe... there is nothing like standing in a goregous gothic cathedral.
3) The food... enough said lol

1. Belgian dark beer. I'm an expert. ha ha.
2. Going into the hospital for a week, and coming out with a 40 dollar bill (for your TV set) because everybody in the whole country paid high healthcare deductions into the fund for you.
3. That my children will go to the University for a tuition of about 700 dollars plus the cost of books. PER YEAR. And there is no denial to enter the University.
Don't ask me for the 20 things I don't like. ha ha
I have lived in Belgium for 15 years.

1. the food
2. the architecture -- some cities are simply amazing...but even little towns seem to have a charm that is lost in other parts of the world.
3. diversity -- in a relatively small area, there's such wide differences among people, languages, etc.
