I don't care for her personally, but I think she is a brilliant politician and good politicians usually make good Presidents because they know they have to compromise and work with both parties to get things done.
I don't think she will win because she is a woman and because of the lingering cloud of the scandals of her husband's Presidency. I do think if someone picks her as their running mate she could help the Democrats win.

I know many people demonize her. But, I really don't understand why. Our nation was better off when she was First Lady. In more recent times, she wasn't the only Democrate who voted for the war, and we were all deceived. Even I supported the war, back when I believed the lies that Iraq was an imminent threat.
She is a great campaigner, she was villified when she ran for the senate in New York. But, she made her case and presented herself well, and she has been a great senator.
I have been watching her online conversation videos. She is trying to start a dialogue with us, and anyone who is plugging their ears is just being silly.
Senator Clinton can win and would make a good president. That said, politics can be dirty. So much can happen between now and November 2008.

I don't think she will win, and I won't vote for her. I'm all for the idea of a woman president, but with all that is going on right now, I don't think it is the right time. Not that I see women as weak leaders, but it is simply the mindest that other countries have that men make better leaders. I think the best thing for the US right now (since we're at war) is to elect a male president, so other countries will keep seeing us as a strong country. I'm not saying that it is right that having a woman pres. would make us look weak, but that is just the way the world works right now. But even if it was the "right" time to have a woman pres, I wouldn't vote for Hilary.

Excellent idea, her running for president. Its about time, a Lady President.
Yes she has a pretty good chance of winning. Why?
Here are two of the most important motivations that will propel her to winning the position.
1. a. Women who want to have a female president in this generation
b.Men and women who want another stance on Iraq, not the macho male approach.
c. Men and women who are democrats and recognize her as having their best win potential.
2. a. Men who would not want to "inherit" the problems of Iraq will want to see her try first, learn from her possible failures
b. Her enemies would like to see her fall flat on her face for the same reason- Iraq.
So-- she will win. And I think she will do everything she can do within her power to be a really good president. A woman always has to work doubly hard anyway .

I think she can make a good president compared to many others. Certainly the bar has been lowered by the current administration. However she's going to have to put up with a lot of garbage and mud slinging between now and the election.

Well I don't know if she will win, and I don't even know if I will vote for her yet. But yes, I think she can do the job. I mean she's been there with Bill and knows what to expect, she is as well qualified as any of the rest of the candidates. I would have no problem with her being President.

I would love to see a woman president but I don't know if the world is ready for Hilary. I haven't really followed her political views on issues...but I'm game for a woman having complete power of our country...

it would be great if ms clinton won the presidential election i mean why not she is a women thus representing over half of the population naturally! however elections are not that simple and if america wanted a female president we would have had one by now lets face it america is patriarchal and will stay that way! now whether she would make a good president! its to ealry to judge we should ask is she more suited to presidency, compared to her republican opposition, but if Bush became president than anyone can be! thats if you have moeny! so go hilary!

If she's bold enough to run, she'll be bold enough to lead. I like her but think she is thoroughly unpopular among the neo nazis. I would fear she would be assassinated by the extreme right.
Fortunately for the GWB, the extreme left are a more tolorant bunch or he'd be assassinated a LONG time ago.
I'm afraid for Hillary if she should be elected but think she is exactly what this country needs.

Good for her but I won't vote for her and I don't think she'll win. I disagree with her politics...it would take many minutes and paragraphs to explain my views. Just about bed time.
