either use less make up or blend some of your powder on your neck

Your foundation is too dark!!

Try to match your foundation to the color of your neck, that will help with any obvious lines, etc.

Also, you may want to consider a lighter blush as well. After you've gotten the powder on your brush, tap the exess powder away, so there's not too much blush on the bristles. Then gently sweep the brush over the apples of your cheeks. A good rule to start with is to apply very, very little and then look at yourself. You can always apply a little more - it's much easier than trying to remove excess! Good luck!

I'm pretty confident you're using the wrong type of foundation and/or the wrong color.

Go to one of those make up ladies at the mall or shopping boutique (they're usually free). Many of the less expensive products have the same ingredients as the higher priced ones. You're not required to purchase anythng from those consultants anyway, so take advantage if you can!!

The point of going is to get a color consultation. This is ultimately what you need. Then do some research on applying that type of make up correctly.

You will need a lighter foundation. The color should match your skin, but cover up any blemishes. Use browns, and natural colors for the eyes, maybe a couple shades darker than you skin for your blush. This will make your make-up look natural. The point of make-up is to enhance the beauty you have already.

ya the only thing u can do, is put some on your neck or blend it in more, choose a better color for your skin tone, a recommended one would be one that is two shade lighter than ur skin color. Also it would be wise to not cake on the foundation or pressed powder just slowly blend. You will get much better results ! :)

You've got the wrong colour I think so next time you buy foundation/powder then test it on the side of your neck or if you have difficulty testing it there then test it on your wrist because these are your true skin colours and will make your skin glow. If you insist on having the foundation/powder colour you have now then buy a face and body foundation (e.g. the one from MAC) and blend it on your face and neck.

you must be using a shade darker than you need to, also you really need to blend in anything that you apply to the face like foundation so that it matches perfectly! try using a lighter shade, maybe even less of it? and it doesn't really matter if it looks obvious as many people wear makeup now :) as long as you don't look like you have a orange face and white body it wont matter that much :)

1st of all...wen u buy a foundation, dont try it on ur hand(opp side of palm). tell the sales person to apply it on ur cheeks. cuz the skin color onhand is much different than on face. spending some time at the counters really pays well. dont use alot of pink...try some in light browns for blush. and ofcourse, apply equally(the foundation) on ur neck..dont ignore ur neck..

The foundation you use is obviously too dark so you should change it and start using a lighter one. The best place to try the foundation, to see if the colour is ideal for you, is your chin or neck.

Go to a department store make up counter. They will match your color to a foundation/powder/blush. I did it cause I have medium dark skin and I always would get f'ed up color and it would either be way to light or orange tan. So I am hooked on a foundation and powder by Clinique.

I use Bare Minerals for makeup--its so natural and covers as little or as much as I want on my skin and I never ever have to worry about that freak-neck look again!
