It depends on how bad they've treated you, I 'd say.

if you mean except you need to be dished some revenge then yes its very good because this means you can resolve the issue if you mean is it right to dish out the revenge then it depends on the situation but mainly i think yes because they deserve it

NO! You cannot right a wrong by another wrong! Overcome evil by good.Leave room to GOD for revenge or go to the right authority.
Taking things into your own hands will just make things worse for you.You can even end up
the one suffering more,going to prison,being restless,disoriented,etc.
