It depends on the person. I've learned to cope with stress through different ways. I'm a musician, so I usually play guitar and sing. Sometimes I'll sing really loud in the car, scream along to an angry song.
Talking to other people helps too. Not just in complaining, but having a conversation about it where both people can understand and offer advice on negative situations.
And always find time to sit down and think things about your day with a clear mind. Often times, you'll find that the things that you are stressed about and worrying about, may be very small in hindsight.

To cope, I make things. I'm a crafter. When I start to become overwhelmed, I take a piece of fabric, some paint, some beads, something...and use it to create something beautiful. That helps me to acheive inner peace, then and only then can l successfully return to "real llife."
Oh, yeah, the moped. I like to ride my scooter/moped, through country roads - at the highest speed I can. When that wind is blowing through my hair and beating around my face, and everything is "back there somewhere" there is when I feel free, if only for a moment. A joyous moment!

first you got to determine what you want you life to be. explore all avenues pick a couple solutions for fall back purposes remember, this is for your Peace of mind and follow through. no matter what have a mind set and deal with all of your stressors in this manner. after a while you will become so good at dealing with situations, life on the whole will be a breeze because you now know how to sort it out and not the other way around. you are now in charge good luck

Think about my goals and what would make me happy. Then set out to achieve the goals that would make me happy. Balance comes from nurturing every side of you.
Maybe make a list of all areas of your life and fill in the areas that are complete and that aren't complete. Decide what you can do to complete all the areas in your life.
Example:
Physically (Exercise 3 times a week), Spiritually (Attend church), Friendships, Family, Work, Play... Do what works for you!
Hope that helped! Good luck with your journey!

I'm still searching. Stress seems to be everywhere these days. I try to find comfort in the santuary of my apartment, but that doesn't always work. I've tried divorcing myself mentally from my stressors, but they always manage to find me. A sound sleep is even elusive as of late. I try to exercise, read, and listen to music. As I write this, I realize that maybe I haven't prayed enough. So, I'll try to do that more often. Like I said, I am still searching for that balance. I'll continue to watch your question for helpful advice. Sorry I didn't have an answer, but thanks for the question. It is an excellent one. Good luck to you.
