i do not imagine it concerns what the words are, only that someone cares and is gently attempting to reason with me. There are some situations we do not have any administration over, like once you're a passenger on a plane. it is when I have a tendency to get extremely annoying and sense somewhat panicky. the floor is so very a concepts less than, and that i have no administration over what's occurring--and that i'm no longer a administration freak. there is only some thing freaky about being in a concern the position there is no longer a lot you may do. It facilitates to take heed to from others who're dealing with or were by ability of similar situations because you will get advice you could save on with. If it is a few thing you could plan for you're waiting to verify the situations on your go with or a minimum of be prepared for a attainable undesirable result. If it is an unpredicted concern it facilitates to step lower back, take a deep breath, and examine the priority in the previous taking action. i do not recognize if both of those may help. This too shall bypass. What would not kill you makes you more desirable. i wish this facilitates. :o)

Smile and be agreeable. When you are nervous it helps to remember to breath deep into your diaphram rather than short and shallow breaths. Also remember to keep your body relaxed. If your body is relaxed and you are remembering to breath you will look more at ease - no one can see what is going on in your head and they won't know how nervous you are.

Remember that they WANT you to succeed. Hiring good people is one of the hardest things about running a business, they wouldn't have hired you if they weren't hoping you'd work out. They won't expect you to know alot (hopefully you didn't lie about your skills to get the job?!?) and will walk you through what you need to do. Remember that everyone else there had a first day , and a first day on a first job.

Take a small notebook with you and take notes if you need to when they are showing you what to do. It's easy to forget things when you are nervous and notes can help you remember sequences of tasks.

Make an effort to memorize everyones name right away.
Remember that you are there to WORK, not to visit, so try to stay focused on the tasks, the relationships will come over time.

Good luck!!!

By the time you read this you will probably just be returning from your first day at work. So, how did it go? I'll bet you're tired, but you should be proud. You did it!

My best advice is to be responsible. Be on time every day and be willing to do just a little bit more than what's expected of you. You won't believe how impressed employers are at the little extra.

Deep breath. Tomorrow's a new day. You'll do great.

Work as if you are working for God. Be honest sincere diligent, use your initiative and apply your knowledge and wisdom to the best that you can. Behave responsibly, dress smartly and be confident and positive all the time. DOnt live by emotion but choose to be positive and accountable.

I wish you success, and never feel stupid. If you cannot fathom something ask again and rather be sure you know what is right than guess.

Good luck to you. MAy this job be the one you hoped for and is right for you.

Don't be nervous. Just pay attention to everything the boss or bosses tell you. But most important, keep a smile on your face and have fun.

You were given this opportunity to make something of yourself. You have found favor in God and you WILL be successful. First days are hard because you have a lot to learn but you will eventually learn it all. Fortune will come to you if you believe. Best wishes.

Well. The most important thing is to be yourself. It's no good pretending to be somone you're not. Act freindly, if someone is acting hostile towards you don't let it get to you. Smile and make eye contact, be headstrong.

good luck!
