In most cells the protoplasm is confined, but in some fungi it can move fairly freely to other cells.

Protoplasm never moves but the cytoplasm does.This kind of movement occurs in plant cells exclusively.This is called as plasmodesmata and this is a mechanism by which nutrients are exchanged from one part of the plant to other.Such movements are not observed in animal cells.

No it usually stays inthe same cell until the sell devides then it is split betweel the cell in which it originated in and the new cell which it has created.
