i'm a guy and I've got a very close female friend. I had my birthday 4 days ago and she bought me 2 gifts. She also arranged a surprise birhtday cake for me last night at a restaurant. I want to thank her but not only by saying the typical "Thanx". What can I do?

ok kosta....so...why dont you buy a frame and put the best photo you have of you two and on the photo write ''Thank you for being such a good friend''!!! i would do that!! then she will have a really nice frame (buy it from a gift shop) with a photo of her and her best friend!! Oh..and it would be cool if the frame was ''Friends for ever'' (the trademark with the bears)...

Buy a basket and fill it with some bubble bath from Bath & Body Works(Vanilla is nice), some scented candles, maybe her favorite cookies, things like that and stick in a card saying thank you for being a friend or something. Or if she is a movie fan you could do one with popcorn and a movie rental certificate, candy, etc. For a really good thank you it has to come from the heart. She is your friend, really think about what she likes and go for it. I bet she'll love it.

you are very lucky to have such a friend. treasure her. you may buy her a little gift, nothing fancy, just simple, maybe a book, brooch, hair accessory, or something she may need, i dont know your friend, try to study her... try to discover what she may need that you can afford to buy. dont buy something expensive. since you only want to thank her and not return the money she spent for you by buying a thank you gift as expensive or more expensive than her gift ( did i make myself clear?) nways, another idea is just buy a card, write there how grateful u are for having her and so on... and invite her for lunch and give that card to her. lunch or dinner...whatever is possible. you are a lucky fellow to have such a very caring friend.

What are her interests? Maybe take her to something she enjoys.
(ie., movie, play, some sort of game) I wouldn't go with flowers. Sometimes that can give girls the wrong idea, unless you want to be more than friends...then go for it!!

Do something on a large scale, take a picture of it and hand it to her(ie have a bunch of people hold up letters spelling out thankyou or some nonsense like that). thats one suggestion.

I think sending her a bouquet of flowers w/a heartfelt "Thank you! Thank you! Thank you for making my birthday so special...It meant so much to me!" will make your point.
