Well considering free music off the web is illegal I'll give you choices for legal, payed-for sites online.

WalMart.com: 88 Cents per song, around $8 per normal album.

Napster: $9.99 per month for unlimited downloads to your computer, $14.95 per month for unlimited downloads to your computer and MP3 player

Amazon: great deals on CDs and albums online, a wide selection.

Dell Music Jukebox (might be installed on your computer): 99 cents per song, about $9.99 per average CD, massive selection.

Pandora Internet Radio: Free music taste exploration, sign up as a member for more options. You can buy the song from iTunes or the whole album from Amazon.

iTunes: 99 cents per song, good prices on digital movies and soundtracks. Compatible with all Apple MP3 players.

yes. don't use them. i've known these sites for a long time and have used them in the past. sadly....there are more and more viruses and trojans embedded in the free stuff. if you value your computer, i would stick to pay sites. reliable, re-downloadable, and heck....99 cents a song isn't that bad!
