Get a No Cost Background Check Scan at https://bitly.im/aNDL1
Its a sensible way to start. The site allows you to do a no cost scan simply to find out if any sort of data is in existence. A smaller analysis is done without cost. To get a detailed report its a modest payment.
You may not realize how many good reasons there are to try and find out more about the people around you. After all, whether you're talking about new friends, employees, doctors, caretakers for elderly family members, or even significant others, you, as a citizen, have a right to know whether the people you surround yourself with are who they say they are. This goes double in any situation that involves your children, which not only includes teachers and babysitters, but also scout masters, little league coaches and others. Bottom line, if you want to find out more about someone, you should perform a background check.

There is NO deadline for cashing personal checks. I used to work at a bank (Wells Fargo) and customers got messed up by businesses or other entities holding checks and then cashing them months later.
One guy had 12 of his mortgage checks go through at the same time, over a year later when they sold his mortgage to another company. He spent the money and his house ended up getting foreclosed.

The only thing I can think of is maybe the check got lost. Have you called the school to ask them if it was received? If not, you can put a stop on that check with your bank and send another one or make arrangements for a wire transfer.

A personal check is considered stale dated after 6 months. That's not a guarantee that it won't pass through the check clearing process after 6 months. I'd contact the school to make sure they received your check.

It ddepends upon the laws in the state in which the check was written. In Colorado, for example, any check not cashed after six months is declared void.
It might be worth your while to put a trace on it.

A check goes "stale" after 6 months, if their bank is paying attention.
