There are a lot of cheap sarees up for sale in the ebay. Just make sure that the seller is UK based or you will end up waiting for a month after the function.

Go to ebay, or look in the eknazar.com yellowpages for stores near you. Or, just search online for stores in your area.
If you can't find any, 6 yards of nice lightweight fabric will do. because that's all a saree is, uncut cloth :)

Depending where you live, check your local phone directory for any specialist shops. If your out of luck try buying a large poncho or silk scarfe and adding embellishments on yourself.

just go to ealing road- you can pick up one for around £5 so why make one!?????
