Pondlife gets lots of Best Answers for his questions which enables him to keep asking his crazy questions. He is also on a level where he can ask unlimited questions, and he maintains that by giving lots of witty replies to other people's questions.
You should read his answers as well as his questions - he is very witty indeed ..... and yes he seems a little bonkers, which is why his mind comes out with such crazy questions.

Reasons for Pondlifes points..
1 He spends an awful lot of time on here answering 2p for each one he answers
2 He asks a lot of questions 3p for each best answer he chooses
3 He votes on undecided questions 1p per vote
4 People pick his answers as the best because they appreciate his humour and he is able to make a person smile (a rare quality these days)
5 for each thumbs up he has on a best answer he also recieves 1p for each....

The point gods have been kind to him. No he isn't bonkers. I'd say he is more crackers, or nuts, peanuts, I think.
