Your question is not complete. What is the concentration of the 1 in 1000 solution?

OK assuming you mean a 0.1% (w/v) solution (1 g of adrenaline in 1000ml) 1ml = 1g/1000 ml = 1mg/ml (1g= 1000mg)

therefore you need 750 ml to give 750 mg. Amount/concentration = volume

You may mean something different by a 1 in 1000 solution, try re-reading the question for any other information.
