After your mission has been accomplished, aren't you supposed to go home and celebrate?

If you think about it, whenever Bush says something like that, it is retracted again a few days or weeks later.

That particular mission was completed....Saddam was
defeated. We all wish all could have been ended at that
point. The US would have looked really good then and
everyone would have been happy. Now, we have another
mission which is much more difficult than the first mission.
Bush honestly believes we can accomplish this mission
also......time will tell. We all want victory so let's support
the mission and see if we all together can make it happen.

Mission was accomplished in Germany before you were born. Still have troops there. We are going to be in the middle east for a long time.

Close to 4 years ago Mission accomplished? B.S.. If the mission was accomplished like Bush said Then what the hell are we still there for? that was one of the many lies Bush has told us since he 1st took office

It was April 2003. Then, we received another mission. It is to place a democratic government in Iraq. This mission was poorly design because we were too soft in the beginning of that mission.

The war was over as we took over the country, what is left is a police action regarding crimes against people, so that is what we are doing now
