i'm honestly not a big fan of either but i would go w/ option 1

Wow, wasn't easy but I finally found the photos. I don't see any thick straps but the shoes with the thin ones ... Wow!
Might not be the right ones but the shoes I saw looked like leather and had thin straps with a little buckle. They were hot (wish I would have had them for my Halloween outfit ;-) ).
A guys opinion, You should deffinately wear those! :-)
