yes but use one that actually works BG44K is what is used by the dealers to clean your injectors. I ron a can through every 20000 and have never had an injector problem. It also cleans the carbon off the upper intake

I have heard of fuel injector cleaner damaging o2 sensors, but I have no personal experience of this. I ran fuel injector cleaner in my car and felt a significant difference, so I am sure it works, as for a preventive... Maybe once a year?

It will be a waste of money if the car is running fine. Use it in the winter to help with water in the lines.

No. The additives in gasoline sold these days does not require that cleaners be used
