First of all the cost for consumers: $499(4gb) $599(8gb). It is estimated that Apple's cost will be approx. $200 per unit to make. The AT&T/Singular plan should be NO LESS than $100 a month, expect a plan closer to $1500 plus a year. Expect battery life to be a HUGE issue. In addition, take the traditional ipod and put it to your head. Yeah feels like sticking a calculator to your ears huh? Oh yeah, the technology derives from Jeff Han's touch screen innovation. You can search/Utube that info,pretty amazing stuff. So why would a teenager be slaving away at the GAP with nothing left over but to barely pay for the monthly service plan for their iphone, not to mention the amount they have to pay back to their parents for purchasing it for them. With all that said....count me in. I'm getting one. Another rich fool maintaining my "must haves". HOW ABOUT YOU?

No, I will not get one. In fact, though I am a dedicated technology freak, I am also fond of being able to go through life without allowing technology to be a millstone around my neck. I use a corded telephone at home, and do not own a cell phone. My home phone service is through my cable provider, attached to a server that allows me to surf the 'net, talk on the phone and watch television at the same time. So you could not call me a Luddite or a technophobe...I value time AWAY from all this stuff, too. I don't WANT you to be able to reach me any time you feel the urge to validate your humanity by babbling senseless crap into my ear. If you have something serious to say to me, you know my e-mail address. Hit me there and I'll get back to you. If it's truly an emergency, I will not be able to help you any quicker via cell phone. I also am not interested in cell-phone pix of the skanky broad you spotted in the park, the run-down Victorian your squeeze lives in or the cheesy graffitti on the subway car you think is so kewl.
So no - I ain't gonna blow my scarce green paper on a d a m n iphone, you dig?

I will not be buying one, for reasons that the one I have now is good enough, and I never use any of the features that can be seen on others, like camera's, internet options (checking e-mail), watching television etcetera. Seems a waste of money to me, when all I am happy with is using it to talk.
Other features of the iphone, I already have on some of the other devices I have bought over the years, so it is a waste of money for me to buy one just to "stay in style"

I am probably going to get but not anytime soon. Because I lost my old phone again it's the second time so then my dad got me the miami ink razor cellphone. because I wanted that. I also have an ipod already.

isn't that just an IDEA of apple? not a PRODUCT yet? but no, thats a waste since i have an ipod and i think i might sell it and get a zune or something or go with a classic CD player...yeah i know, i'm old-skool.

No. I don't see the significance. I have a cell phone that has MP3 capabilities. I also have an ipod. I don't need an iphone.

yeah i am gonna buy it, becouse it is simply the best. I do't mind the cost. I am a very fan of apple, all my computers are aplle so why should i not buy it?
