In Documents, file folder keeps jumping to top when inserting images?

I'm not good with computers. How I got 599 photos in My Documents I'll never know. As soon as I click on my documents there they are all 599. Trouble is when inserting each and every photo into folder, folder jumps to very top. This is very time consuming. Not how I want to spend a Sunday afternon. Any suggestions?

When you open your my documents folder you probably are in details view and sorted on last access - this is an easy fix

1st of all change your view to list - you will get smaller icons and less detail, but you can change it back later

2nd - if you want to move some or all of your pictures to a folder you can move more than one at a time by holding down the Ctrl key and left mouse clicking on one or more of the pictures you want to move. Once you get them all highlighted (with the Ctrl key still held down) right click on one of the pictures and drag them all at one time to the folder you want to drop them in.

As an alternative if the files are all in sequence in the list left mouse click the first file in the list you want to move and then scroll down to the last file, when you get there hold down the Shift key and left mouse click the last file - you will select all the files between the first and last this way. You can then move all the highlit files by right clicking and dragging the whole list to your new folder.

Yeah it sounds complicated, but once you do it two or three times you'll be a pro - try it.....
