My mouse Doodles has been coughing and walking around hes cage alot like he dont know whta to do and i have also noticed him drinking a lot of water does anyone know what could be a matter with him?

It sounds like a URI and he needs to be seen by a vet for treatment. More than likely a round of Baytril should clear it up and he will be all better. I hope he gets well soon!

Take out any other mice in to a separate cage. Feed him, hydrate him, and give him some love. That's all you can do, except wait.

How old is he,..they don't live long, not as long as rats ,..(rats three years). He could be old, diseased, who knows..
he may be sick to his stomach and needs to throw up, and you know what happens then,...they die, rodents can not regurgitate.
give him some peptobismal, it can't hurt.

he could have a respiratory infection. i'd take him to the vet.
