i know it has something to do with clumpping of blood cells so can someone tell me what exactly it is, for example if you mix bloodtype b with a syrum of anti b and clumping occurs is it type b blood? and so on for other bloodtypes

Mix your red blood cells with the serum of an A and B person separately.

Person A will have anti-b antibodies, so if your blood cells clump, you must have a B blood type (you have b antigens on your cells).

Person B will have anti-a antibodies, so if your blood cells clump, you must have an A blood type(you have a antigens on your cells).

If both of them clump, you are an AB (quite rare - you have both a and b antigens on your cells).

If neither clump, then you are blood type O (neither a nor b antigens - but you have anti-a and anti-b antibodies).

if you know ur paretns blood type for sure, you can make a pedigree and see ur possibilities, and if you don't want to do that, i think there's a test ur doctor can give to determine it
