Here in VA it is illegal to hang anything from your review mirror. Now people do so but remove them for inspection. One would assume that anything in the line of vision especially something live would be a distraction and would be very dangerous to have there.

the only thing i hang from the rearview mirror is my g/f's ankles...and that's usually only when we are PARKED! :D

Check your local laws, here you cannot hang anything from your rear view, But if you can chances are yes....:-)
