My former college roommate was named Stefanie - spelled the same way too, with an F - and we called her Stef or Fannie (although we mostly used Stef, since Fannie just sounded funny).

stef, effie, steffie, stuffie, fanie, fifi, nini.....my cousins name is steffanie and her father calls her steffernini. A nickname is usually something someone else calls u and it fits or sticks. People dont usually give themselves a nickname. Sometimes people use their initials or just their last name. ask your family...they know you and what fits and can help you better.
