If we split the USA, I would gladly move to the conservative state. I would also make darn sure that in 6 months when the liberals came begging for a handout/foreign aid, my new country would tell them to pack sand.

It is already happening. People are abandoning the Liberal States of the Northeast and are moving to the south. If it were not for the Union the North Eastern States would be begging the south for handouts or blaming them for their problem to begin with. States have learned that Taxing to death does not work! When will liberals?

I lived in NY my entire life until this past May when I moved to NC. A lot of others are doing the same thing, moving out of the north and heading south where the weather and taxes are much more moderate. What does that tell you?
If you or anyone else for that matter doesn't like it here in the usa, whether in a lib or con state you can always move out. Canada or Mexico are just next door.....go ahead, shoo, leave....

What an amazingly stupid question, but so you are aware the "liberal" states in this country already pay the most in taxes so we basically support your neocon backsides, you fritter away OUR money on $800.00 pizza ovens and $900.00 student fridges in the pentagon's preferred vendor program then piss and moan like girls when we wnat to feed the hungry & colth the poor, Cons are more worried about gays than the rest of the world and only spout the portions of the Bible that suits them leaving out all Jesus said about helping the poor, Conservatives are hypocrites and losers

I believe this issue was brought up in 04 when so many liberals demanded the election go exactly as they wanted or they would move to canada, but for some reason they decided not to in the end. I say, go wherever makes you happy. If people think the US isn't for them anymore and they dont like the democratic process, head on down the road to candada or europe and enjoy your life....the US will move on without you.
