there are no gay bars or gay parades or anything!

Most people from Jamaica are Rastafarian's,and it goes against their religion.

Perhaps they don't know they ought to; the religious views of the country won't allow them; the police closed the bars and stopped the parades. I doubt there were gay bars or gay parades or anything before let's say, just for lack of a better date to set out-- 1945 in the Unied States

They do exist, but openly, no. Jamaica, is a very conservative country based on Christianity. There is no country in the world that promotes homosexuality.

That is so funny, because i know gay jamaicans and most jamaican men dress gay. totally ironic. Most of the things that they believe in or preach is usally the opposite
