my favorite is pizza... the best (althoug its not originally american..)
most americans like hamburgers, hot dogs, sandwichs, french fries (sometimes with toppings), pasta, etc. Basically your fast food stuff. (not all of us are necessarily healthy)....
the most popula one is dessert. ice cream, cookies, pie, cake, etc.
