I have to do an assignment on Human Resource Management. The question is - To Assess critically those factors which are likely to influence the performance of groups, compared with individual performance. Use practicaly examples to illustrate your answer.

There's group-think, mob-violence and stuff like that. Groups pick up on what their leader says/believes and the whole group joins him.
Individuals, while they may ask for others' opinions, are more apt to think for themselves.
