It is considered lazy by some people.
I can think of some good reasons why it is not a bad idea to go back to bed in the afternoon.

Not at all. Sometimes going to bed in the afternoon is better than the sleep you got the night before. That's probably the reason why you wanna go to bed in the afternoon in the first place.

If you feel you need to rest for a while, feel free to go back to bed. It's a lazy Sunday, after all, but the Italians believe in an afternoon nap (or siesta) EVERY day, so don't feel bad.

i dont feel it is lazy ..because your body and mind is tired and needs rest ,,this doesnt mean one is lazy ,,and also there is health factors here in this issue . maybe ones health would make them participate in retiring for bed.another thing is ,,partners may desire love making hmmm now thats a thought! but no ,, going back to bed doesnt necessarily mean one is lazy :)

if you do it most days then yes...it is lazy. if it's a one off, or just every now and again and you've actually be doing something that warrents a nap...ie: working or....whatever then no....it's not lazy.
