Note that an arithmetic sequence goes as follows:
Given the first term is "a", then the sequence would go

(a, a + d, a + 2d, a + 3d, ....)

Note the formula for the nth would be
a + (n - 1)d

To obtain the 101st term, just plug in n = 101 for this formula.

a + (101 - 1)d, or
a + 100d

Use the formula, changing the "n" terms to 101. Then do the arithmetic.
