Personally feel, no one should report any question, this is a public forum, designed to be a way for people of differing views and backgrounds, to vent and have discussions on a variety of areas, if you don't like the question, don't view it, that is why there is a back button on your browser.

Just follow the community rules. You should be able to stay out of trouble that way. I was reported for a number of things and got my points restored when I protested. Maybe your question was NOT a violation. YA will return those points if you are justified in your appeal.

Mostly I think it hits too close to home and it is a truth they do not want to accept, so they flag the questioner or answerer. It isn't hard to piss off narrow or closed minded people. I suggested to yahoo in an email they show the person and the reason that person violated another. Let us weed out the trouble makers.

I was reported for an answer about George Bush. I never threatened him; used bad language. I just told it like I saw it.
I was so scared that I cried. I figured that the secret service, or Chenney or Rove would show up at my house.
But here I am again posting my thoughts away. Oh well!! Freedom of speech is what it is called.

I don't know but they do it to answers too. Maybe some people can't handle a good debate..and I don't report, except for that liberal that cloned my account because they could not handle a debate or the truth for that matter. Because I do not report questions or answers, just clones.(i even reported the person that cloned you months back)

Don't feel bad, I get reported on a daily basis. I don't care because it makes me feel good that I bother liberals with my questions and answers. Libs wrote the book on reporting.

Because Yahoo! has never heard of freddom of speech, and they never really look at the quality of the question. If more than one person reports a question, it will probably be deleted.

I've yet to report anyone, people carry this too serioursly when they disagree, I do think yahoo could do more by perhaps not allowing level 1s to ask questions and checking their avatar before allowing it
