Three days ago, by bf of a year broke up with me. The next day I get a message on MYSPACE from a girl I do not know claiming that she has been seeing my bf since this summer. I'm not trying to cause drama, so I didn't feed into it. I haven't heard from my bf since Friday, which was when he called me. So, he doesn't know about it. In her message she says that she came across my page and saw his picture.

I have no idea how this girl found MY page of all pages and found his pictures. I'm not listed under my real name on MYSPACE and my display name is not common. And my bf does not do the MYSPACE thing.. and I only have his pictures on my actual page, not display pic. So I'm really wondering how this girl found me. When I went to her page, there was only one picture, and that guy TOM was her only friend. Her profile said SINGLE and that she lives close by, but I'm still confused about how she found MY PAGE. Is it really that easy?

And should I take her words seriously?

The thing is that I don't know this girl and have never seen her in my life... so how would she know me? I'm sure everyone would say his cellphone, but I'm not listed in his phone by name either. I figure a person would have to know me or somethin gaobut me to even do a search.

The weird part is, when she initiated the message she used his first name, and even described him a little. I'm thinking that perhaps this is an ex or a friend. But the bigger question is... HOW DID SHE FIND ME? I know all of my friends on MYSPACE. And how would she know my info to search?

Well, you can find someone pretty easy on myspace.
If you have your school or job listed on your profile, they could find you that way.
Or by your name or email.

Also - if you are friends with someone else, they could just look at other peoples friends as well. I know you said she only had one on her profile though.

This could also be someone just messing wiht you.
How many people on myspace have just one friend?
Check out how long the myspace account has been opened.
If it is only a few days, you know its prolly bs.....

Hope that helps.
Good luck and be safe!

Myspace is a relatively easy way to locate almost anybody! By clicking the search icon, you can put in display name, e-mail addy or real name. You can also do a search for everyone within a 5-100 mile radius of your zip code in the states. It is quite possible she searched each user's page until she found what she was looking for. Despite all that, however, I would not feed into the drama. What's done is done. No need to be the bad guy in the end. He'll realize he was an **** and you'll move on to bigger and better things. Good luck!

It's MySpace
It shouldn't be taken seriously at all. Next thing we'll here is that Tony Blair and the Government rule England via news on MySpace.
So what if "someone" wrote a messege, delete it and ignore.
