Does it matter? Just watch it it's good, or at least more than half of the world would agree with that.

I would call it a light hearted drama. It has a serious story line that you wouldn't find in a comedy but told in a way that doesn't seem so serious. I've noticed this with a lot of japanese anime. they can really tell a story in a way that people will listen to.

It's anime.Bleach is about a kid who sees ghost and fights them.It's basically fantasy and has some comedy in it.
