Yes you can, with certain criteria:

1. you possess a firearms license ($200 to renew yearly)
2. the paintball marker must be stored by a licensed vendor in a strong room (u cannot bring it home)
3. pay for the police escort fee

Don't complain too much. In malaysia, it's the same. and paintball is humongous there.
