Art... what type of art? Illustrator, graphics? The world is full of creative people, thus it's very difficult to make a good living at it.
I have a degree in graphic design. I have been a graphic artist for 25 years. I always wished that I did something else for a career. I'm successful but it's been a long time coming.
I would choose something else as a career choice. You can always be an artist as a hobby. When you do art as a career it's not as much fun any more. Seek other interests as a career. You'll always have your creativity. Good luck!

I am very artistic. I paint, sculpt, draw and come from a whole family with artistic talents. When I graduated High School, I took one semester at an art school and also took a comic book design course taught by Mike Gustovich (artist for Marvel comics). After hearing stories how artists like him struggle to make ends meet and then seeing my aunt struggle as an artist, I took my career in another direction. Computer programming. It is also a way to be creative, though not as fun as art. But, it pays a lot better. But if money is not important in your career goals, I say go for it. There is nothing better than doing what you really enjoy and there are some commercial artists too that are so good, that they can get top dollar. Good luck.

I'm not an arty person, but I wish I was sometimes. My field is very boring and tedious - all i do is sit in a cubicle all day and crunch numbers and keep grumpy bosses and customers happy.
Art seems more enjoyable and glamorous. You can produce pieces of art, or work in an industry that needs art such as advertising, illustration, graphic art, etc. Each project is different and it's not mind-numbing like the vast majority of other jobs are.
You can also be an art teacher if you like to teach others.
I'm sure there is some stress in art, because if you work for others, there are strict deadlines. If you work for yourself, you have to sell your creations, and that can be challenging too.
I would also learn to be a good writer at the same time. Maybe double major in art and writing or journalism or language. If you can write effectively as well, you'll be in very good shape - and it seems like creative writing and art use similar parts of the brain.

convinced you're allowed. Islam teaches that you'll go with any inventive occupation you wish, see you later as you stay remote from sinful behaviour. (Sinful behaviour consists of drawing/sculpting stay creatures so this can be a particular concern so a concepts as artwork is in touch. seem the position it were given the Christians, with fictitious, vulgar imitations of Isa (pbuh) displayed on pub beer mats, live performance halls, rock band emblems.... And so said as ecu Roman "artwork" it is all eroticism, and eroticism, artistically speaking, isn't some thing.) or you're fantastic. go with purer kinds of artwork quite.

Life is too short to ignore your passions. Pursue these passions and success will find you. Your question tells me that you already know this.
"Go confidently in the direction of your dreams! Live the life you've imagined. As you simplify your life, the laws of the universe will be simpler."--Henry David Thoreau

Choose something you love to do. If art is what you love do that. You spend a lot of your life working so enjoying it is more important than financial sucess. Life's too short to be miserable at work.
