Attendances falling/the elite 6 with the money and everyone else in their shadow. I used to go to football every Saturday then when SKY got in on the act the Gate prices went through the roof and we find ourselves watching players who earn more in one week than alot watching would take 7-10 years to earn! I haven't been for years because it's unaffordable and is not value for money 9/10 times

For every £5 on a match ticket that's another 2000/3000 people priced out the very people that have made the clubs what they are now.

I am a Manchester United supporter but I can only go on special occasions because I cannot justify paying £38 for a ticket and if I want to take my son that's the best part of £80 for a day out.

There is a saying that you don't kill the golden goose but that is exactly what the greedy football club owners and agents are doing how can a footballer justify earning £5m per year it's obscene not in touch the reality of the average working person.

I sometimes go to watch FC United the fans club it's £7 for adults and £2 for children and we have a good time but my son want's to see Ronaldo and Rooney but I don't let my heart rule my head.

It's already happened. It's only the TV money keeping clubs alive, all the clubs outside the premiership are bankrupt.

I see your point,we are at a stage where the FA Cup attendances are suffering, because people can only afford to go to premiership games, ticket prices are far too high and people just cannot afford it

i think that it is possible for one or two clubs go to the wall i hope not tho but if it did happen there are big clubs waiting in the lower league's capeable to take there place?? all you need is someone to be able balance the book's. and not take stupid risks.
