Australian players like to retire with respect and pride.

Indian players want to play till someone kick their a** and get them out of the team. When you are not in good form and getting old, just give the way to the deserving youngsters.

b/c in Australia, cricket players don't make as much money as in India. Tendulkar knows that even if he stays and plays like crap(which he is), he'll still be rich at the end of day and will still be a big symbol of Indian cricket.

They are so selfish, they hang on to create records. Indians worship cricketers & give them the impression that the game cannot survive without them. Players cannot tolerate talented youngsters getting the fame, wealth & popularity which they will have to give up.
