manners should be expected at any age..being polite and generous and not selfish. a gentleman is one who cares for others more than himself. he is one who opens the door for his lady. poilte when he talks. A gentleman is just that a gentle man. needs to be warm hearted and kind.. My dream gentleman is my fiance..he is all that i have mentioned and so much more. Always puts my needs above his own. In turn I do the same for him.

What is a Gentleman?
A gentleman is a mature male that believes a woman should be treated with respect and kindness. A mature male that shows manners, good morals and ethics. One that doesn't hit a woman for any reason.A gentleman may open doors for a woman, assist with her chair when sitting. One that is gentle in all ways.A gentleman has good speech etticut.
As to a 14 or 15 year old, I guess one could be a gentleman in a certain aspect. I would call them a trainer since they haven't had the years in experience to be a full pledged gentleman...lol
I have seen a handful of "gentleman's" in my lifetime. My father for one. Never hardly argued with my mother, never used foul language around her, opened her doors when getting in and out of the family car or stores and restaurants.Did things around the house for her and respected my mother in every way. It takes a sincere male to become a "Gentleman".
A dream gentleman is only in the movies..lol but if I had two choices in that catagory it would be James Bond 007 and Zorro...lol.

14 or 15 yr old boys would not be considered gentleman. If they are raised properly they may be a gentleboy and grow into being a gentleman.

well,as a grandmother,if a young man has manners, opens the door, pulls out the chair, waits till the lady sits before he does, keeps his hands to himself, actually wears his pants where they are meant to be,has character, uses his table manners,i'd pretty much say you can be a gentleman @ any age, always show respect in a relationship

i doubt a 14 year-old, 15 maybe, you have to be kind, respect your lady friend, stand up for her if somebody is making fun of her, buy her something nice just to show her you love her, pay for her meals, take her out places, buy her flowers, make her feel special, even a horse and carriage ride through the city/park!
