Hi, Ive got a Science GCSE mock exam tomorrow which will decide whether I do the higher or lower exam. I'm really not good with revision, and my mind goes blank in the exam hall. I am in the highest set, but only this exam counts! Any tips on how to revise and make sure I remember it??! Thanks, xx

heya! scan throught past papers ..when did my GCSE science our board was AQA and i used past papers for revision. If you are really tight for time ...just look at the question think of what you would put in your head then look at the mark scheme for the answers. That way you are revising aswell as getting an idea of the sorts of questions that will be asked.

good luck!

First do some revision but in small chucks throughout the day. Second rule, dont panick about it.Im sure someone like you will do fine. Good luck with your mock and hope it all goes well. Let me know how you do!

Hey, I did my GCSE's last year and found that writing notes, highlighting them, then writing shortened versions helped. However, this doesn't work for ver many people, as many people seem to learn via visual methods. Therefore, I would suggest drawing diagrams and using lost of colour; mind maps and spider diagrams seemed to work for a lot of my friends, but if you're a learner like me, then do bullet points, I find it really useful. Hope everything goes ok and good luck!

Use my 10 finger rule. Pick a subject and remember 10 facts about that subject in order starting with your left thumb. Memorise them until you can say it backwards. As soon as you sit down in the exam, write 10 key words for what you have remembered. It'll all come flooding out once you get going.
