Racism seems to still be prodominant in rural areas of Britain in comparison to inner cities or large towns?
Ethnic minorities are still bound to cities and towns, why?
With city people moving to the country wouldn't it follow that ethnic minorities also follow?

No racist comments please. thanks.x

I'm an African American. I went to every Conner of Britain in 97'. Places like 'York', Cambridge, Bath, Nottingham, the east cost. I NEVER had a problem, it was quite refreshing actually. I can't believe it has changed that much.

To be really honest, most minorities don't want to move to an area with few minorities, there are a few brave families and individuals who pioneer their way into predominantly white rural settings......however isn't life hard enough ...

I made a massive Screw up, taking up a job in a mid size city, in the UK and its really bad here, what more for a little village.

My friends (of all races) still laugh at me for moving here, and from now on ill keep safe and stick to London.

I believe that it should be a choose for the individual whether you want to live alongside the ethnic minorities. In rural communities which are very close knit with many traditional values I can understand that they do not want the infiltration of other cultures. Unfortunately the ethnic communities tend to lead to overcrowding because of the way they live and gather together. The country folk do not want to be overcrowded and have their village atmospheres spoilt nor do they want foreigners encroaching on their territory.
