Messi and Ronaldo are in the same league. And out of all 3, Ronaldo is the one that has improved a lot. Notice how he doesn't hog the ball long these days and he has mastered controling it and his opponent far better than years past. Rooney is an overall player. He has been a great passer and has been the backbone of the strikers. But if i had to pick one, I would have to pick Ronaldo.

The guy has a point. I would say Rooney has more natural talent than Ronaldo but not Messi. Ronaldo trains harder off the pitch which is why he has been so successful. Rooney is a complete player though. He can score tap ins, long range shots, volleys, chips, bicycle kicks, half way line goals on the volley, penalty s, free kicks, headers. He can also play almost as good as Pirlo and scholes in the CM position. He can do perfect passes, assists. He is a great captain and lifts the team. He can score in the big games. He tracks back and helps the defence. His drawbacks is that he can have outbursts. However he is very consistent in the premier league where the competition is great. Messi and Ronaldo play for the best teams in a league where the bad teams are rubbish. Whereas in the Premier League the bad teams are pretty good. He almost has the Man U goal record, the England goal record. When Rooney career ends I believe people will realise what a great player he actually was. He is definitely the best England player to come through in the last 30 years, it s ashame that the England team are so bad around him. He has scored 48 England goals with a pretty average England side. Imagine how many goals he would have scored if the England team was good. Rooney is a complete football player and i believe once his career ends people will compare him to Messi and Ronaldo. With age i believe these two will lose what they have but Rooney will stay consistent. Also Fifa are corrupt. Suarez wasn t put in the balondor in 2014 when he was easily in the top five in the world so do not judge it by this.

Ronaldo's not even in the same league as Rooney and Messi. Messi has already won 2 La Liga titles and Champions League with Barca so thats the only way I can separate them.

I still think Wayne Rooney just has the edge on your other choices with Cristiano Ronaldo a very close second.

Rooney is best at aggressivity!
Cristiano Ronaldo is the best diver!
So I say Messi is the best one among those three, even if I don't really like him...

All these guys are pretty young, so they definitely have some great years ahead. I think that Rooney doesn't deserve to be mentioned with the other two. He's too hot-headed and undisciplined. However, Messi has already shown a tendency to injury, so I think I'd have to go with Cristiano Ronaldo. Although he has also had his stupid moments he appears to be miraculously growing up.
